About the Swarm
THE 2023-24 NLL SEASON marks the Swarm’s eighth season in Georgia, having moved here from Minnesota in 2015 after 11 seasons in the Minnesota-St. Paul metro area. The Swarm play nine regular season home games at their home venue at Gas South Arena in Duluth, Georgia and compete in the National Lacrosse League, the third-highest attended pro indoor sport. The NLL is completing its 37th season in 2023-24 and continues to aggressively expand.
The Swarm are part of the 8-team East Division, competing with the Albany FireWolves, Buffalo Bandits, Halifax Thunderbirds, New York Riptide, Philadelphia Wings, Rochester Knighthawks, and Toronto Rock. The Swarm have made the NLL playoffs in 5 of their 7 seasons in Georgia, winning the NLL Championship in 2017.

Alongside our four (4) ESPNU and ESPNEWS “Game of the Week” broadcasts that reached an audience all over the United States and Atlanta, the NLL's partnership with ESPN+ had all 18 Georgia Swarm home and away games broadcasted live, reaching millions of viewers across the country.
We believe ESPN+ is a perfect partner for Swarm broadcasts, as they reach our two fastest-growing demographics: millennials and families.

DULUTH, GA – September 25, 2023 – Peachtree TV, Atlanta’s CW, is launching a statewide sports channel called Peachtree Sports Network which will reach over 5.3 million homes in Georgia. The new channel will host live sports from across the state year-round, including Georgia Swarm home and away games throughout the 2023-24 season.
“Georgia has so many tremendous teams that simply need an audience, and so many sports fans that just need a station where they can watch live events. We’re very excited to be at the very beginning of what will be become a legacy sports tradition across our state,” stated Erik Schrader, WANF and WPCH Vice President and General Manager.
Andy Arlotta, Co-Owner and President of the Swarm emphasized the importance of partnering with a local broadcast giant deeply ingrained in Atlanta’s identity. “We are excited about the opportunity to partner with Peachtree TV once again. This partnership not only benefits our organization, but also our corporate partners, stakeholders, the National Lacrosse League, and most importantly, our growing fanbase in metro Atlanta,” Arlotta stated.

Explosive Growth
Lacrosse is the fastest-growing participatory sport in the country for both boys and girls, according to numerous studies in 2021.
- Lacrosse participation growth dramatically outpaces all other participatory sports – including football, baseball, basketball, and soccer – among high schools across the U.S., growing at over 50% in each of the last three years.
- There are over 250 boys and girls high school lacrosse programs in Georgia, most of which are concentrated in the counties around the metro Atlanta area, as well as hundreds more organized lacrosse clubs and competitive travel teams.
- Georgia has become a major hotbed of lacrosse in the U.S., seeing an explosion of freshmen athletes playing Division 1 collegiate lacrosse, with most coming from Gwinnett, Cobb, Forsyth, and Fulton counties.
